The photographs<\/h5>\n\n

The analog photographs displayed in the \"Photography\" section were all taken with a Minolta SRT 101*. I manually develop the film and the pictures** using a development process called \"Caffenol\". As a mixture of instant coffee, vitamin C and washing soda, Caffenol has the advantage of being non-toxic and eco-friendly. Moreover, the resulting color rests between sepia and black & white giving it a pleasing visual feel.<\/p>\n

To me, analog cameras are excellent artistic and experimental media; that is why I prefer to use them when it comes to following an artisanal photographic approach.<\/p>\n

The drawings<\/h5>\n\n

All the drawings are made by hand, mostly using Uni-ball pens. I find my inspirations in European medieval art, Ancient Greece, Japanese art, Art Nouveau, Buddhism, Hinduism, and also from more specific artists such as Harry Clarke, Aubrey Beardsley, Pieter Brueghel, or Hieronymus Bosch. I don't typically use color for the simple reason that I prefer to focus on lines, patterns, and details.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
